Body & Neck
• Body: One-piece solid mahogany. Unlike standard Les Paul models, the Black Beauty version has no maple top, which produces a darker and warmer tone.
• Neck: Mahogany with a period-correct “Chunky ’50s Rounded” profile.
• Construction: Long Neck Tenon, fitted using Hot Hide Glue for maximum resonance — just like in the 1950s.
• Fingerboard: Solid ebony with 22 frets.
• Inlays: Mother of Pearl block inlays.
Electronics & Hardware
• Pickups: Three CustomBucker Alnico III humbuckers. These are wound to replicate the original 1957 PAF pickups.
• Controls: 2 volume controls, 2 tone controls, 3-way selector switch.
• Note: Traditionally on 3-pickup models, the middle switch position activates the bridge and middle pickups together.
• Bridge: ABR-1 (no-wire) with a lightweight aluminum stopbar tailpiece.
• Tuners: Gold “Waffle Back” tuners.
